How to fix your iPhone and iPad from the new Indian character bug

Once again a new bug, Which can cause your iPhone or iPad to crash after receiving a message with a specific character. Here’s is the solution.

A bug in iOS 11.25 and on macOS 10.13.3 is causing devices to crash, and/or disabling some third-party messaging and email apps when a particular character from Telegu language has been sent. It seems that Apple devices are unable to render the Indian character for some reason, causing apps or the entire system to abruptly crash. Some of the third-party apps including Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger and it could be potentially harder to remove the contaminated messaging threads, depending on the software.

Though it crashes the apps wh the n user tries to open the msg with that character, To the worst some people reported that the entire mobile gets crashed even if they receive the message and no longer opens it. It appears that the glitch also affects the Apple Watch and Macs, crashing native macOS apps such as Safari and the Mac App Store.

We noticed that Apple has already cleared the bugs on its latest updates iOS 11.3, macOS 10.13.4 and on watchOS betas – shows that Apple is already aware of it. To the same side some Apps like Skype, Telegram are all working well without any crash.

We do recommend you better go ahead and update your device If there is an update available for your device to avoid unnecessary problems.
