Problem Using Samsung Pay on Some New Samsung S9 and S9+
Samsung Pay isn’t working on some Samsung S9 and S9+ smartphones. Issues on Unlocked Mobiles.
Though Samsung released its latest smartphones the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ earlier this morning, pre-orders have already been shipped, and therefore quite a few peoples had got there smartphone. If you’re one of them or if you bought the device directly earlier today, here’s some bad news.
The Samsungs popular payment channel, The Samsung Pay is not working on US unlocked phones. Though the App is preloaded on the device it says that there is an update but when we try, the updates don’t get installed. When checked the Play Store listing for the Samsung Pay app it says the app is not compatible with your Galaxy S9 or S9+.
A Samsung customer representative has apparently confirmed that “some models are experiencing issues with Samsung Pay, It would be a minor software buy on the Samsung Pay App, and an update to address this will be rolled out soon.
