Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro Launched in India at Starting Price of Rs. 9,999

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 pro in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively.

The Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 pro India launch has been confirmed at the Xiaomi event in New Delhi, with the company’s India head Manu Kumar Jain and the product manager Jai Mani on stage to showcase the device. The smartphones come as successors to Xiaomi’s top-selling smartphone in India, the Redmi Note 4. The noticeable change in the new smartphone compared to its predecessor is its bezel-less design, the 5.99-inch FHD+ display with the modern 18:9 aspect ratio and the larger 4000mAh battery(Redmi Note 5). The thickness of the smartphone is also get reduced by half a millimeter. Apart from this Xiaomi has also unveiled the Mi TV 4 for the first time ever in India at a price of Rs 39,999.

With this, India also becomes the first global market of Xiaomi to receive the Mi TV. The smart TV by Xiaomi boasts of a bezel-less frame with just 4.9 mm thickness, a 4K HDR picture quality, and a Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio Quality. The Mi TV has been priced at Rs 39,999 by Xiaomi.

Redmi Note 5 Specification

The smartphone is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor chipset clocked at 2.0GHz. The Redmi Note 5 sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with the modern 18:9 display aspect ratio( 2160x1080p pixel resolution). Its best part is its camera, the first Redmi Note series smartphone to offer a dual camera setup, carrying a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor featuring with 1.25-micron pixel size, PDAF, and an LED flash module. When it comes to the memory The phone comes with two variants, one with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and other with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The smartphone is said to be available in Black, Lake Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Redmi Note 5 Pro Specification

This is one of the best specs makes it one of the global debut when compared with its price. The Redmi Note 5 sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with the modern 18:9 display aspect ratio( 2160x1080p pixel resolution) as similar to Note 5. When it comes to the processor it is packed with the Snapdragon 636 processor and has a dual camera setup on the back (with 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors). Here it comes with 64GB of internal storage with tw0 varients of RAM 4GB & 6GB. The Pro model will be available in four colour options, namely Black, Lake Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Redmi Note 5 & Note 5 Pro price in India

As of now the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price starting at Rs. 9,999 for 3GB variant, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM model. The Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India – Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM model. As there is no official wording about the availability of the smartphone, we are expecting it to be available by next week via the flash sale model from both Flipkart and Mi.com.

Xiaomi has also announced the MI LED TV 4 in India at this event. With this, India also becomes the first global market of Xiaomi to receive the Mi TV.
